Kendra Sparks is a dedicated Communities In Schools (CIS) Site Coordinator (also referred to as a CIS Facilitator) serving in Wyoming County Schools, West Virginia.
She has been with Wyoming County Schools for many years, and her work focuses on supporting students through the Communities In Schools program, which helps remove barriers to learning by connecting kids and families to community resources, mentoring, attendance initiatives, and more.

Her leading efforts to boost school attendance, such as celebrating perfect attendance goals at schools like Baileysville and Huff Cons Elementary and Middle School do not go unnoticed.
She is currently working on a Valentines Day incentive that relates to attendance and the importance of attending school.
She oversees the Blessing Box on the school campus, reaches out to local community members/businesses for donations, is in charge of the Rider Store that allows students to spend school cash to each rewards, and so much more.
She has been recognized in local school board minutes and district communications for her role in student support.
